Balloon twisting class at CSULB - For the Los Angeles Mission Back to School Event

Every year, the Los Angeles Mission hosts a Back to School Event for children in need. In addition to fun and games, the Mission and it's corporate (as well as private partners) gives away HUNDREDS of FULLY STOCKED BACKPACKS! AMAZING!

A few years ago, thanks to an invitation by my professor and mentor, Dr. Betty McMicken, I was given an opportunity to participate in this event by making balloons creations for the children that attend.

But one balloon guy is not enough....
Thankfully, Jesse the Balloon Guy has some amazing friends, including Mike the Balloon Dude, as well as a number of CSULB students and professional volunteers (*who I'll be happy to name if they give me their OK :-).

Bellow are pictures of two of our newest balloon volunteers at a training class I taught at CSULB.

The Los Angeles Mission's Back to School event will be held this upcoming Saturday.

GO Los Angeles MISSION!
